Grades
Tungsten carbide is a sintered material that is mainly made from tungsten carbide and a binder, usually cobalt. If the goal is to create corrosion resistance, then nickel or nickel / chrome binders are recommended.
The specific hard metal properties are determined by the binder content and the grain size. A high proportion promotes toughness, and a lower proportion of binding agent improves wear resistance. The degree of hardness is influenced by the selection of the grain size.

Processing begins with us even before sintering. Before the tool is produced, the customer drawings are adapted for its production. With our full or semi-automatic press systems, both small and large series are possible in our production. And we optimize further processing.
Depending on the customer’s request, finishing on grinding or spark erosion takes place.
